About the Role
We are looking for an Power Platform Service Designer
Responsibilities
- Service Design: Playing a key role for requirements definition, documentation, and estimation throughout the service design phase. Aligning with Product Owner, conducting feasibility studies, ensure compatibility and adherence of standards, security, and architecture.
- Solution Operation Management: Responsible for solution operation regarding event, incident, problem and access management and change management. Coordinates necessary resolution activities and supports Tribe Lead in management and monitoring of external suppliers.
- Solution Transition: Evaluating and supporting all requested changes for the solution (service). Preparing and coordinating the factory tests (FAT) and the user acceptance test (UAT). Planning and coordinating the deployment and go-live of solution (service) releases. Keeping the solution (service) documentations up to date.
- Solution Strategy: Supporting the Product Owner with definition of solution (service) strategy and budgeting. Providing high level estimations for innovations or upcoming changes.
Continual Improvement: Evaluates, plans, manages and controls solution (service) improvement activities. Provides adequate solution (service) reporting. Participates in audits and ensures mitigation and improvement of possible findings.
Requirements
- Background in a technical role (e.g. Requirements Engineering, Project Manager) as well as an understanding of ITIL processes
- Knowledge of IT Systems, Microsoft 365, and Power Platform with a good understanding of solution design techniques (e.g. creation of Service Design Specifications)
- Project management skills and hands-on experience in agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
- Analytical thinking and a high technical affinity to learn
- The ability to work collaboratively as well as to build consensus and strong relationships
- Excellent communication in English and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire others;
Nice to Have Skills
- German skills are an advantage
