About the Client

Our client is a provider of IT solutions, systems, hardware and software services in banking sector. It operates data centres, bank systems, POS terminals and HW (servers and PC) and is responsible for development, implementation, support and servicing of banking software and its operations in Central and Eastern Europe.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Application Manager / Application Specialist.

Responsibilities

As an Application Manager you will be responsible for the stable operation of the supported services in the
Digital Banking and Payments environment as part of 2nd level support. Various monitoring tools are available
for you to monitor the different applications, which helps you to determine the sources of errors and
performance issues. You will:
-Ensure that changes are incorporated into regular operations
-Document these adaptions in various documentation tools
-Perform root cause analysis with a wide range of monitoring and observability tools
-Incident management
-Work on the further development and optimization of operational and business processes

Requirements

-Experience with the operation of applications
-Familiarity with Cloud and/or On-prem infrastructure
-Experience in application performance monitoring (APM) is a benefit
-Good knowledge of Unix and Red Hat Enterprise Linux
-Ability to work in a team and excellent communication and presentation skills
-Know How of scripting and programming languages, especially for web applications with Java, JavaScript
and HTML
-Excellent English and German skills both written and verbal
