About the Client
Our client is a provider of IT solutions, systems, hardware and software services in banking sector. It operates data centres, bank systems, POS terminals and HW (servers and PC) and is responsible for development, implementation, support and servicing of banking software and its operations in Central and Eastern Europe. Our client develops and maintains all relevant IT-solutions (e.g. SimCorp, Oracle DB/DWH, Web) in the area of Asset and Wealth Management in close co-operation with Erste Asset Management. Erste Asset Management coordinates and is responsible for all asset management activities of Erste Group amounting to more than € 60 billion. More than 300 employees develop and manage investment solutions for our investors across 7 different countries.
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Junior or Senior SimCorp Inhouse Consultant.
Responsibilities
Junior:
-2 to 3 years on-the-job training and professional training and courses on the leading investment management software SimCorp Dimension
-Bring out your creative side to customize SimCorp solutions for our clients
-Impress by gaining in-house knowledge of SimCorp
-Play the hero and configure solutions to meet clients' needs
-Unleash your inner data analyst and interpret data flows
-Get ready for excitement every day with new challenges to tackle
-Participate in implementation projects spanning a wide range of topics to fulfill clients' demand for additional, value-adding features in SimCorp Dimension
Senior:
-Analyze problems and issues in SimCorp Dimension together with internal customers
-Work closely with SimCorp developers to combine business and technical know-how in analyzing client issues and requirements to provide optimal solutions from a business and technical perspective
-Co-operate closely with other professionals within SimCorp area to share knowledge and ensure efficient solutions for the client
-Implement additional functionality in SimCorp Dimension for existing customers for instance by working in -implementation projects on a wide range of topics to fulfil our clients’ demand for additional, value-adding features
Requirements
Junior:
-A degree in studies related to Computer Science or Finance with affinity for IT
-High interest in the asset management industry, investment finance (e.g. financial instruments, capital markets)
-First programming experience, preferably with SQL/XML
-Patience, self-learning ability, and customer orientation
-Not afraid to ask questions and display curiosity about new things
-Able to work independently, find solutions, and enjoy working in an agile environment
Senior:
-Ideally you have at least a few years of SimCorp Dimension experience, or you are familiar with implementing investment management software
-Good programming skills, preferably experience with SQL/XML
-Passion for business processes in investment management and modelling them in our software
-Good communication skills and ability to summarize complex findings, including analyzing and interpreting data and data flows
-You are courageous and show potential for improvement, act independently, solution-oriented, are helpful and enjoy working in an agile environment with new challenges every day
-Experience in the area of asset management and fund accounting is an advantage
