About the Role
As an Analytics Lab Application Engineer, you will be responsible for development of the end user experience of a capability, which enables Risk Consulting Analysts to perform their job function.
You will be working with the regional Risk Consulting Leads to understand requirements of their function, translating those requirements into seamless user experience, and designing the application components of the Analytics Lab capability in close collaboration with the Analytics Lab Architect. You will design and build both front-end and back-end part of the end user facing portal, which will become a primary entry point for Risk Consulting day-to-day activities.
This role will report to Analytics Lab Lead.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Understand functional requirements and design user journeys for Risk Consulting Analysts.
- Develop application components to implement required user journeys.
- Continuously collect feedback and monitor usage of the capability to adapt it to the needs of the users.
- Ensure compliance with security requirements.
- Contribute to development of other Analytics Lab components as required.
- Provide day-to-day support to the Risk Consulting Analysts.
Requirements
You enjoy understanding your end user's needs, defining user experience that helps them perform their job in a seamless way, and developing applications, which implement such user experience.
- Experience defining, designing, and delivering applications based on Azure services stack.
- Knowledge of .Net, C# preferred.
- Good understanding of Azure security principles, including Active Directory and role based access controls.
- Practical knowledge of Azure API Management.
- Strong experience in building and deploying Infrastructure/Software-as-a-Service solutions on Azure.
- Practical knowledge of DevOps, including pipelines definition and use of Azure code repository.
- Experience with Scrum/Agile development methodologies.
- Experienced working in multicultural globally distributed teams.
- Self-starter with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn, who can manage their own workload.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a clear and articulate standard of written and verbal communication in complex environments.
Nice to Have Skills
- Knowledge of Insurance Domain or Financial Industry is a plus.
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric is a big plus.
